Adult Orthodontics
Look Younger, Look Better, Feel Better
It is never too late to have the smile that you have always wanted. Braces today are smaller and less noticeable than ever before. Orthodontic problems, when left untreated, can lead to abnormal wear on the chewing surfaces of the teeth. Crooked teeth are much harder to keep clean than straight teeth. Bad bites can make it difficult for teeth to be properly restored with fillings or crowns. Orthodontic treatment can correct these problems.
Appearances count!
In today’s society, good looks are important.
The upper and lower jaws and the teeth make up a large percentage of the
face. Straight teeth that fit
together properly can greatly improve your facial appearance and your
confidence.
Orthodontic techniques are sometimes different for adults than for children. Some problems are easier to correct in growing, developing children. Adults usually present with more difficult problems than children since the dental problems have had a greater amount of time to develop and because adults are no longer growing. Orthodontic problems can be corrected, but for these reasons, adults usually require a longer treatment time than children.

Moderate tooth crowding and aging crowns (orthodontic treatment and new crowns)
Excessive spacing (gaps) of the teeth
Severe crowding (crookedness) of the teeth
Severe tooth crowding (orthodontic treatment and tooth bleaching)
