Limited Orthodontic Treatment

   Orthodontic treatment with a full set of braces usually lasts for approximately 2 years.  However, not everyone needs or wants a full set of braces.  Limited orthodontic treatment with a partial set of braces or a removable appliance is an alternative to a full set of braces and usually requires less treatment time.  Partial braces are used to correct isolated problems, such as tooth crowding (crooked teeth) or spacing (gaps), in one area of the mouth.  Removable appliances can be used to make minor tooth corrections.  Limited orthodontic treatment is very popular among adults who want to improve their smile without the time and financial commitment that is involved with full braces.  Not everyone is a candidate for limited orthodontic treatment.  Please schedule a consultation appointment to see if limited treatment is right for you.
